WARMACHINE
Once in a while I get a wild idea and just do it. I came across WARMACHINE on some gaming site and it was well liked. I guess I was tired of the huge battles I had with Warhammer 40,000, or maybe I was looking for some game to interest my kids’ skill and modeling level, but I took the plunge and bought two boxed sets. The main advantage I saw in this game was that with as few as four models you can have a playable force. Also, I liked the background of steam technology and magic.
I painted up the boxes in short order, following the traditional schemes of each army. I played a little with the basing, avoided the planet of dandelions I swear by with my 40K guys. Technically, they represent some of my best figure painting work to date. I liked them so much that I bought a few blister packs to help round out the army. Naturally, they’ve never been played with. Such is my life.
WARMACHINE is produced by Privateer Press.
