HeadquartersIn the early versions of WH40K, characters didn’t play such a large part in the game as they do now. As such, I didn’t make much effort to collect or paint command squads. However, when taking inventory for nugax, I found that I actually have quite a few leader types. I used the ranking scheme designs from Rogue Trader to distinguish different ranks. The symbol under the C in the officer insignia is a staff of direction, part of a fasces from Roman times. The chaplains were part of a boxed set. You can really only use one of these at a time, I knew it then, but I liked the figures and so painted three. Though I have a Terminator captain, my real commander carries the tactical flag of the 152nd tactical squad and wears the traditional tactical space marine power armor. He's just cool. I haven't named him yet, but when I do, you'll fear him. |
