Tyranid Swarm 532: The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Swarm

Originally designated merely as Swarm 532, this ever growing Tyranid menace has developed a nickname by its enemies.

Inspired by the swarms hypnotic myriad of colors, undulating masses of life and unquestionable potency, it has been dubbed: The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Swarm by the few survivors who have fought it.

The first confirmed appearance of this Swarm was at the Battle of Crippen where a legion of Imperial Guard drove them off after a bloody six month battle. It is widely believed that the fall of Crippen two months later was at the hands of the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Swarm though no human has dared to return to that planet since that sudden fall.Timothy Leary

Today many historians believe that the Battle of Crippen was fought against a small scouting contingent and the planet fell in under an hour when the whole swarm arrived.

Nevertheless, biological matter was recovered from Crippen before the fall to allow the Imperial scientists to designate and identify the specific Swarm 532.

This swarm was again encountered on Jenoat 3 and 4 where the it descended upon the Ork forces holding Jenoat 3 and quickly overcame them. Two months later, the swarm attacked a Skull Hunter marine garrison on Jenoat 4. The Skull Hunters managed to hold the planet for eight days until evacuated.

Recent reconnaissance to Jenoat 3 and 4 have reported that there is absolutely no life remaining on those worlds. Both are barren rocks and the Swarm 532 has again disappeared into the Haight-Ashbury Nebula.
